First incorporated as the Wisner Development Corporation in the 1950’s, Wisner Community Development is dedicated to providing community and economic development guidance in the Wisner, Nebraska area. Wisner Community Development is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1998.

Wisner Community Development is governed by an 12-member board of directors all of whom are committed to a successful viable future for the communities of Wisner, Beemer and Pilger. The organization has one professional staff member.
